So by my reckoning we have the following signed up for the season ahead...
Sam Ashton
Callum Duffy
Tyler Hayles
Zack Newton
Jose Sani
Loving the return of Ashton. Scored a lot of goals in his very brief spell with us under Richie Hanlon. Hayles is a massive re-sign too from what I saw last season. Adds a real presence in the middle of the park.

It's a promising start to the recruitment process, two players who have proved themselves at the club, one who has the potential to do so and another two who have good track records elsewhere.
Then it's a simple matter of Simon putting the individual talents together and getting the most out of them as a team.
Step 4 really isn't where I want the club to settle so I hope the management have the backing to get us out. And up rather than down please. As last season showed, it won't be easy but I have that pre-season confidence that we can be on the way up again!

Looks like Jude Mason has signed for Hampton & Richmond Borough. A big shame as he's one of those I'd hoped we could retain. Good luck to him though. Had a great season for us and deserves his chance at NLS level.

Herson Alves played for Haringey Borough in a pre-season friendly yesterday.

That's a shame if he's gone. I thought he looked very useful last season.
I see Keano Robinson didn't play against Knaphill so I wonder if he's also gone? Good to see Amos Nasha back though. I see Pazio was in goal too so I'm assuming he has a good chance of staying also. A lot can change before the season starts though of course.

Amos Nasha secured today, which is great news!
Squad slowly but surely taking shape. I'm assuming there will be a flurry of activity prior to next weekend.

Jack McKnight now confirmed and Callum Duffy to be the new captain. Another good retention in the squad in McKnight. We'll have a good midfield this season.
I'm assuming Duffy's award of the captaincy is after Keano left? Don't know much about Duffy but he was playing the level above last season so got to be a decent player. We do look a bit lightweight in number defensively as it stands though.

On paper this squad looks very competitive so far, few more additions to bulk out the squad, which will be revealed in the 16 list for this afternoon visit to South Park.
Kaylen Hinds and Jack McKnight are massive positives for this season. Amos Nasha never let us down and his energy around the pitch is why he’s a firm fans favourite.
Isaac olorunfemi has looked an upgrade at right back especially in the final third, his pace is frightening. Bangura at left back the same and eases the loss of Jude Mason.
Keano is a massive loss in my opinion, alongside James Richmond last season, we looked pretty solid defensively, hopefully Simon is right in that he believes he’s upgraded on those positions from last season, only time will tell!!
Few pre season games I’ve attended, the team as a lot more pace throughout the side, looks like there will be goals scored with the attacking options at the managers disposal.
