I see on the club web site that season ticket holders are being invited to send the car registration details to a club email address. Apparently this will negate the need to go into the club house and register your vehicle to use car park on match day.
Let’s hope this club initiative works there is nothing worse than dealing privately owned parking companies whose sole aim is to make money of motorists.

Such parking schemes do seem to have a history of unfortunate unwitting victims and unsympathetic operators.

I hope all fans, home and away, are made well aware of what is required of them. I can't see any notification or similar scheme for Southall fans yet.

The nature of those attending the ground is that there will be a fair number of people attending once a year or less who will be unfamiliar with the arrangements.

I wonder if withholding any parking charge for vehicles parking up to two hours before kick-off and leaving at up to 2 hours after a match finishes would be less likely to snare the unwitting.
